2011 Aki Matsuri - 秋祭り

JASGA's fifth Annual Japanese Festival

 

Taiko drums, traditional and festive Japanese dance and musical instruments, the beauty of the tea ceremony, Kendo swords -- all this will bring the artistry of Japanese culture to Central Texas during the 2011 Aki Matsuri, the Japan Fall Festival.


Visitors will enjoy a range of Japanese food, drink sampler, art collections, Yukata photo booth, calligraphy, origami workshop, and Japanese games and entertainment. In addition, there will be a Silent Auction for items such as gift certificates for Japanese restaurants, massage and face spa visits, art collections, Anime conference tickets, games, DVD, kimono, airline tickets, door prize, and more!

The students who are taking Japaense language classes at Fulmore, LASA, and ACC  will operate the Japanese game corner.

 

JASGA thanks everyone who will donate generously to our Fall Festival.  *50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Relief Fund for Japan.
