Japanese Beginning II Fall 2022

This class requires some knowledge of Hiragana and Katakana as students will begin to write in these syllabaries. Students will progress to making plans and visiting places, covering lessons 6-11 in Japanese for Busy People.

Required Textbook: Japanese for Busy People Romanized (Kana version is also appropriate) ISBN-13: 978-1568364018, Textbook (available at Kinokuniya Austin and on Amazon). 

Note: Students can choose Kana or Romanized versions. The Kana version is written using only hiragana and katakana, while the Romanized version uses romanized Japanese throughout. The Kana version might be challenging at first for those who are taking Beginning I and II classes, but it helps you to learn hiragana and katakana faster.
