1000 Cranes of Peace Origami Festival

Japan America Society of Greater Austin (JASGA) will help with the fundraising event for the Asian Family Support Services of Austin (AFSSA) to support of their mission.

JASGA will open an ORIGAMI table to present  the Thousand origami cranes  which was "popularized through the story of Sadako Sasaki (January 7, 1943 - October 25, 1955), a Japanese girl who was 24 months old when she was exposed to radiation from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima" during WW II.

We will also present a Summer kimono and yukata fashion show  at the AARC (City of Austin) with children and their moms and kimono ladies.
