For students who have completed Genki I & II or equivalent. This means that the student must be familiar with transitive/intransitive verbs, potential forms, passive forms, passive-causative forms, as well as honorific/humble forms, in addition to the grammar structures mentioned in the description of Intermediate level. Expected to know about 300 kanji or more. 

Students who took Pre-Adv II can continue to Intermediate III.
