Sponsored by the Japan-America Societies of Texas in cooperation with
the Consulate-General of Japan at Houston and hosted this year by the
Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, the contest is open to
students of the Japanese language living in Texas who are not
themselves Japanese and who have not lived in Japan for more than a
total of two years within the past five years. Entry deadline was Sept.
