The 3rd Annual Satsuki Matsuri (May Festival) will feature live performances by Austin Taiko Drum Group, the Hanayagi Folk Dance Group, Okinawa Tomonokai Dance Company, Still Point Aikido Studio, and UT Kendo, as well as live artistan demonstrations in Japanese book and paper arts of sumi-e (brush painting), shodo (calligraphy), origami, suminagashi (paper marbling), bamboo crafts, and horticultural displays of ikebana and bonsai.  Please join us for this celebratory festival of spring and Japanese arts and culture while enjoying traditional Japanese food and beverages. 

 Sunday May 6th, 2007, from noon to 5:00 pm, at Zilker Botanical Gardens on Barton Spring Road.  The festival is free and open to the public, food and beverages will be available for purchase.
