JASGA Mission Statement

The Japan-America Society of Greater Austin, Inc. (JASGA) is a nonprofit organization bridging the cultures of Japan and central Texas by promoting friendly US-Japan relations through educational and cultural programs for its members and the Austin and Central Texas communites.

グレイターオースティン日米協会は、日本と中部テキサスとの間の文化交流の懸け橋となるべ く、教育・文化プログラムを通じ、協会会員を始め、オースティン市民一般のために日米の友 好的な関係を促進する目的を持つ非営利団体です。

The Japan-America Society of Greater Austin, founded in 2005, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to fostering ties between the US and Japan.

National Association of Japan-America Societies

The Japan-America Society of Greater Austin is a member of  the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS), headquartered in Washington, D.C., which links more than 35 local Japan-America societies.  NAJAS is the only national non-profit network in the United States dedicated to public education about Japan.
